USB Flash Drive Encryption

Unread postby AMark » December 11th, 2008, 7:52 pm

Hello!

Can anyone recommend a good and free, AES 256 bit encryption file for a portable USB Flash drive?
An encryption file that is just inside the Flash drive.
Please.
Thank you.
Cheers!!

Thanks for the advice Cyborg.
But I think that TrueCrypt requires a driver to be installed on the host computer and that requires admin. rights, which I don't have.

Hi AMark,

I'm sorry to see that you do not have admin rights on the computer.
There are many softwares available which encrypt flash drives with AES 256 bit, but as I have not used them, I will not be recommending them to you (they could be bogus ones, and most do not have user reviews).
Furthermore, most are paid ones.
