Programs do not function properly

I don't have any clear signs like new files on my desktop, or a changed homepage or something, but I find that at odd times:

- my browser will crash
- AcroRd32.exe will hog several megs of memory fresh after a restart, even when I have not used it in the current session ( I would understand if I had a huge pdf open, but this happens when I have a simple html website open in my browser)
- iexplore.exe will hog several megs of memory (I never use IE)

-Keep in mind that the above doesn't use any CPU (except when my browser crashes), but hogs almost all of my memory
-the hijackthis file probably doesn't include these abberations, as this is after a restart (I know, not very helpful. I was confused and desperate)

Any help would be appreciated! Thank you! Let me know if I'm doing this wrong!

HijackThis logs can take some time to research, so please be patient with me. I know that you need
your computer working as quickly as possible, and I will work hard to help see that happens.

Finally, please make a uninstall list using HijackThis
To access the Uninstall Manager you would do the following:

• Start HijackThis
• Click on the Open The Misc Tool Section button
• Click on the Open Uninstall Manager button.
• Click on the Save list... button and specify where you would like to save this file. When you press Save button a notepad will open with the contents of that file. Save the file to your desktop and post the contents in a reply to this topic. Also post a fresh HijackThis log.
