Is been about 3 days that i've tried installing win xp from a trusted dvd i created and used many times, and all of a sudden i wasent able to download any updates whatsoever and it redirected me to msn.com all the time, tried going to microsoft.com and do updates manually and not even.... so i started searching threw forums by posting the error code 80244019 that i got after installing which was vista premium original disc. iave tried many things and ran into one that was talking about a malware that redirects you to other url's,any ways iam not expert on this and is the first time a run into something like this.. pls help someone! lol.

problem resolved....

i guess is the comcast network connection, i connected via wireless and everything worked fine.
