USB ports not working?

Hello!
I hope someone can help me. My USB ports stopped working today...
I have tried to shut down PC and wait ant then turn it on again.. bu nothing.. dead end it worked for me a month ago, but not anymore

It´s okay.
I manage to fix it just by uninstalling and re installing usb ports

But another problem appeared now.. when i want to turn off my computer then it takes ages before the "Turn off" window appeares

Please try to kill manually all processes except windows own processes before shutdown and let me know if it helped.

Manually? How and where? Do i have to go somewhere inside the coputer to do that?

No. Kill them via task manager (ctrl+alt+del - highlight - end process)

Maybe better check which processes are running before that

Nothing´s changed, after fixing those it still took a long time to turn off and then came "Windows is shutting down" window and it was there also a long time

If so and it didn't help, how old is your windows installation?
