I have problems with malwares.
I tried Ad Aware in Normal and Safe mode Windows XP running, but nothing solved.
I report here what happens everyday to the system:

1)
Every minute a dialog box appears. It tells that there is a 'Windows Security Alert' and reports:
'Windows has detected an Internet attack attempt..... Click Ok to download spyware remover...etc'

I never answered Yes, nor Cancel. Always closed this box manually

2) I have a 'VIRUS ALERT!' near the Clock

3) A spyware alert which says that Worm.Win32.NetBooster is detected on my machine. Click Yes to remove it etc. etc.

4) Sometimes happen that my browser opens it automatically to some pages. Ebay or email pages. But i do not actually type any User or Pass. Just close it.

Somebody knows how to fix the problem please? I also have an Avast antivirus, but it does not work

Thanks for your help

Hi alessaless

Does McAfee work properly and is up-to-date? If so, please uninstall avast!

After that:

Please print out and follow these instructions: "How to use SDFix". <- This program is for Windows 2000/XP ONLY.
When using this tool, you must use the Administrator's account or an account with "Administrative rights"
  • Disconnect from the Internet and temporarily disable your anti-virus, script blocking and any real time protection programs before performing a scan.
  • When done, the SDFix report log will open in notepad and automatically be saved in the SDFix folder as Report.txt.
  • If SDFix is unable to run after rebooting from Safe Mode, run SDFix in either Mode, and type F, then press Enter for it to finish the final stage and produce the report.
  • Please copy and paste the contents of Report.txt in your next reply.
  • Be sure to renable you anti-virus and and other security programs before connecting to the Internet.
-- If the computer has been infected with the VirusAlert! malware warning from the clock and the Start Menu icons or drives are not visible, open the SDFix folder, right-click on either the XP_VirusAlert_Repair.inf or W2K VirusAlert_Repair.inf (depending on your version of Windows) and select Install from the Context menu. Then reboot to apply the changes.

Due to Lack of Response this topic is now closed.

If you still require help, please open a new thread in the Infected? Virus, malware, adware, ransomware, oh my! forum, include a fresh FRST log, and wait for a new helper.
