I was given a set of instructions to follow after posting my above log, and I was unable to do this next step:

Double-click on SmitfraudFix.exe
Select option #2 - Clean by typing 2 and press Enter.
Wait for the tool to complete and disk cleanup to finish.
You will be prompted : "Registry cleaning - Do you want to clean the registry ?" answer Yes by typing Y and hit Enter.
The tool will also check if wininet.dll is infected. If a clean version is found, you will be prompted to replace wininet.dll. Answer Yes to the question "Replace infected file ?" by typing Y and hit Enter.

I found the folder SmitfraudFix on my desktop, but there was no "option #2"

You are supposed to open SmitfraudFix folder in desktop, double-click SmitfraudFix.exe in that folder and choose option 2

I realized that might be the case, but in the folder there is no SmitfraudFix.exe... there is SmitfraudFix.cmd and it didn't work

Or did maybe Norton prevent it?

am I supposed to install the SmitfraudFix.cmd ? I can't remember if Norton prevented it or not? if that is the case, what should I do?

Just double-click it and if Norton warns, allow it.

If it doesn't work, continue with superantispyware, please.
