Strange Identity showing up at Login for jamespwsullivan

I have just found out that a friend of mine is having this same problem. Should I begfn a new thread or can we work through this one? Not only dos he have this 'new' login identity, but his computer is also exhibiting another symptom--audio "pop-ups."

Regardless of whether we start a new threwad or continue on this one, how can I most effectively continue this conversation if his computer is NOT connected to the Internet? I assume that you will want log files and such. Perhaps I can just load them on a zip drive...
Thanks

Pat

We are sorry you have waited so long for a response. As you can see, we are quite busy as are all the other help forums. In order for us to help you it is necessary that you provide us with a HijackThis log. Please follow the guideline at the link below to start a new topic and post your HijackThis log.

If the subject computer belongs to another individual and you do not have regular access to that computer, then it is probably better for the owner to open his/her own topic rather than attempting to communicate through a third party. In addition, you should be aware that when a Helper has received no response for a period of five days, the topic will be closed. Therefore, regular responses are necessary.

This topic is now closed. Please start a new topic by following the HijackThis Guideline posted here: >Guideline for posting your HijackThis log<
