HuntBar, Registry WinTools removal, IE connection problem,

Hi - been having a few problems with my PC and after reading some archives on here I'm wondering if they are all related to this HuntBar Spyware. First off, I have Windows XP SP2, and have both dial-up AOL and just recently had RoadRunner broadband hooked up. Was going to get rid of AOL as soon as I was sure the RoadRunner was working for a while - but unfortunately it hasn't. Was working fine for a few weeks but then started getting tons of pop-ups and wouldn't connect through Internet Explorer, or Firefox which I also just recently downloaded.
I've done many scans with AdAware, Spybot, CWShredder, SpywareBlaster, as well as TrendMicro HouseCall, Panda ActiveScan, and TrojanHunter. The pop-ups are gone and and AdAware is totally clean now, but I still get Huntbar in SpyBot and it can't delete it. I also just tried the Microsoft Anti Spyware Beta scan, and it finds lots of items, but it can't complete the scan as it stalls in the following registry item every time:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Uninstall/Wintools

I think this has to be related because when I check out the Huntbar location it's in the same Registry area.

I just looked through the post on another Huntbar problem and saw some similar things but didn't want to delete anything also advised by the experts. I also tried Nellie2's link for the Huntbar removal from Symantec but it didn't detect anything.

Idealy you should post at just one forum - as you found out all the main anti-malware forums are made up of the same experts.

If you check the list above in the ASAP link you will see we are a collection of forums that work together. I for instance am known on at lest half of those forums.

Posting at more than one forum wastes our collective time in doing answers at two or more places.
