Outlook Express Problem

Help! My outlook express is acting up- I can send emails, but when I try to send an email with an attachment, it says, "Some errors occurred while processing the requested tasks. Please review the list of errors below for more details." It then goes in my outbox, and resends itself every 15 minutes. It never moves into the "sent" folder. My poor mother received a picture 75 times while I was out of town! I'm also unable to do a successful "System Restore". Thanks for your help.

Hi Artchick63,

I've had a look through your HijackThis log and it appears to be clean of malware, this doesn't guarantee your machine is clean but it's a good sign - also, the problem you describe doesn't sound like a malware problem.

Unless you have other reasons to suspect malware as the cause, such as alerts from your protection software or other symptoms, I think this issue is not malware-related.

For help with non-malware related issues, I recommend you post at a general troubleshooting forum such as WhatTheTech. The experts there specialize in handling problems like this so you are certain to get expert assistance and a speedy resolution is very likely. If you are having problems with System Restore you should post about that as well.

There is one security-related issue you should resolve:
Your Java is outdated and is now a security risk
Go to Start » Control Panel » Add/Remove Programs
Search all previous installed versions of Java. (J2SE Runtime Environment.... )

Remove all versions of Java.
Download and install the newest version of Java Runtime Environment (JRE) (version 6 update 7), from here:
http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp
