Hi Dan!

No worries at all, my system is running very smoothly and quite well! That little blip is minor.

Hi Dan

BTW, Spyware Terminator has ACT7 in its "unknown files", (which I thought I deleted yesterday) when I tried to remove it, a message stating to use "uninstall" popped up.

I followed the string via c:\Program Files\Act\ActforWin7\Apl.exe scrolled through the file listing where a few of my dbases was listed, but didn't see either ACT!6 or Act 2005, I selected not to delete in case I would cause some damage to the database. Act7 isn't in the Add/Remove listing, but the other 2 are .... strange.

Open out look express On the Tools menu, click Options. Click the Maintenance tab, click Clean Up Now, and then click Compact.
The emails that are missing which folder were they in?
I will look a little more to see what I can find :)
Hi Dan

I followed your instructions. There has been a message to compact email folders, so perhaps that was it? I didn't experience any lost emails - it is a number of email addresses that are missing from the address book.

Here's a quirky thing - on the incoming emails to Outlook Express - they have an extension to the Subject header: "Unicode (UTF 8)" Do you know what this means?

Take a look see if it helps Import the Address Book File

If you do make any changes, just jot down the settings before you change anything, that way you can always return to the settings you had if needed to.
:)
How we doing Sandra?
