Hi
Please can you advise me on how to remove Celldorado pop ups? I am having pop ups from Celldorado every time I am on the internet.

Please be aware I am a novice and if you can help me I will be very grateful. This celldorado is so annoying it is driving me mad.

I use norton and I have tried most of the free malware/adaware removers but they just give a free scan and they say that I am infected, norton has advised that I do NOT have a problem PLEASE PLEASE can anyone advise or help ME. I have attached my log file which is below. Thank you in advance

Hello alan,
I am turtledove,
Welcome to the forum :)

I will be glad to help you with your computer problems.
HijackThis and other logs take awhile to research. Please be patient with me. I know that you want your problems solved quickly, and I will work hard to help you.

As an Undergraduate, my posts will be checked first by A Teacher or Expert. Please be patient, I'll post a fix soon.
***Please bookmark or favourite this page. In case you need it as reference and an easy way to find for answering.
Please observe these rules while we work:
1. If you don't know, stop and ask! Don't keep going on.
2. Please reply to this thread. Do not start a new topic. Please stay at one forum for help.
3. Please continue reading posts until I give the All Clear. It is important to note this, as a clean looking HijackThis is not always a sign your system is clean.

If you can do these things, everything should go smoothly.
*Please do not run any fixes on your own, as they may interfere with our work.
*If you are going to be busy and unable to post for more than 5 days please post in this thread so we know and do not close this thread.
**Please Copy or Print all instructions for reference as we work**
I am currently researching your log and will reply as soon as possible.
Thanks for your patience!

Please make an Uninstall list :
To access the Uninstall Manager, please do the following:

1. Start HijackThis
2. Click on the Config button
3. Click on the Misc Tools button
4. Click on the Open Uninstall Manager button.
5. Click on the Save list... button and specify where you would like to save this file. When you press Save button a notepad will open with the contents of that file.
Simply copy and paste the contents of that notepad here on your next reply.

Hello alan,

Thank you for the list, it is correct.
*Please copy to notepad or print these out for reference.*

Download Navilog1 for Vista

Installation:

  • Download Navilog1 from the following link:
  • Right click on the above link and choose Save target as and save it to your Desktop.
  • Right-click on navilog1.exe and choose "Run as Administrator" to install it.
  • Wait for the end of installation.

Run Navilog Option 1
  • Right-click Navilog1 shortcut on Desktop and choose "Run as Administrator".
  • On main menu, choose 1
  • Follow the instructions and wait.
  • Wait for the *** Search completed *** message (It may take a reasonable amount of time)
  • Press any key as requested.
  • A new notepad document will be produced: fixnavi.txt.
  • Please copy/paste the contents of this report in your next reply.
The report fixnavi.txt is also saved in %systemdrive%. (usually C:\)

LimeWire
You have LimeWire, a P2P/file sharing programs installed on your computer. P2p apps like it are the largest source of malware we see. You'll be doing yourself a favor by removing it.

References for the risk of these programs can be found in these links: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/community/columns/protection.mspx
http://www.techweb.com/wire/160500554
http://www.internetworldstats.com/articles/art053.htm

I would recommend that you uninstall LimeWire, however that choice is up to you. If you choose to remove these programs, you can do so via Control Panel >> Add or Remove Programs.

If you wish to keep it, please do not use it until your computer is cleaned.

Hello alan,

when i right click i do not have the option save taget as ?

In right click Menu, there should be either Save target as or Save as or similar, depends on IE or other Browser being used. But you did get it downloaded. There should now be a New Shortcut on you desktop after Installed.

Use Left click on the New shortcut the Installation placed on desktop (not the downloaded program icon)to try starting it. *You must first Right click, choose *Run as Administrator* from Right click Menu, then it should start automatically. If not, double click to start it up. After choosing English, choose option 1 and follow the prompts.

Let me know how this goes.

Hello alan,

Scroll down to where it says "The J2SE Runtime Environment JRE 6 Update 6 allows end-users to run Java applications".
Click the "Download" button to the right.
Check the box that says: "Accept License Agreement".
The page will refresh.
Click on the link to download Windows Offline Installation with or without Multi-language and save to your desktop.
Close any programs you may have running - especially your web browser.
Go to Start > Control Panel double-click on Add/Remove programs and remove all older versions of Java.

Hello alan,

Thank you for the log. You're doing a great job. :)

We need to clean up a few more items.

With ALL windows closed:
Run HijackThis and run SCAN ONLY. Mark the following boxes:
    O9 - Extra button: PacificPoker4 - {94EDF7B4-4272-4af3-8F8B-4E2F68E225B7} - C:\PROGRA~1\PACIFI~1\pacificpoker.exe
    O23 - Service: Boonty Games - BOONTY - C:\Program Files\Common Files\BOONTY Shared\Service\Boonty.exe
Please click Fix Now then Exit when done.

Next:
Please read Here about Boonty Games. Very Important:
http://www.castlecops.com/o23list-1744.html

Next:
Please copy and paste the text in the code box into Notepad (Go to Start > Run, type Notepad and hit Enter)
Code: Select all
@echo off

    sc stop "Boonty Games"
    sc delete "Boonty Games"

Go to File > Save As:. Save the file as "Fix.bat" (Including the quotes)

Double-click on Fix.bat to run the file.

Next:
Remove these Folders/Files in Red:
    C:\Program Files\Navilog1
    C:\Users\halo\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\WER\ReportArchive\Report0ae6a478\Report.cab
    C:\Users\halo\Documents\LimeWire\Incomplete\Preview-T-3545425-unlikely angel.mp3
    C:\Users\halo\Documents\LimeWire\Incomplete\T-115969-#1 DVD Ripper 7.2.2.zip
    C:\Users\halo\Documents\LimeWire\Saved\desert island joe.zip
    C:\Users\halo\Documents\LimeWire\Saved\Spybot - Search.rar
    F:\N360_BACKUP\Drive_C\Users\halo\Documents\LimeWire\Incomplete\Preview-T-3545425-unlikely angel.mp3
empty any Quarantined items from Norton or other scanners and empty recycle bin, Reboot system please.

Please run and post a New HijackThis as before. Let me know if you have any problems still.

Thank you
Turtledove
