Oh Wow, that's great, thank you!

Should I download and use all the programs listed (Spybot, Spyware Guard, Spyware Blaster, WinPatrol, Firetrust Sitehound, MVPS Hosts, Secunia Software Protector, F-secure Health Check) or is this a list to select from? Like I said, I am going to be rid of the Norton Suite, so the M.O. is that I need and AntiVirus, a Spyware and a Firewall... or do I need all of the list you mentioned? I read Tony's article, which is great, but there's even more suggestions in there (AVG, Avast, AntiVir, Zone Alarm, Outpost, IE Spyad, AdAware, Ewido, Windows Defender)... help? :?

I would think one could have too many things running just as not enough??

Thank you so very much for all your time, I will make a donation on MS Juan's behalf.

yes!
As far as a\v and firewalls, just choose one of each, the anti spyware programs it doesn't matter so much if you have a few programs.
You can schedule this into your maintenance plan, update programs each time you use them.
Same goes for malwarebytes.
