Those that are at the top of this page (and all other pages of the forum and website.

They were provided at a rush when we moved to the latest version of this forum software.

But they do have problems.
  • They are a little flat looking. It would be nice if they looked like buttons.
  • The text color of black on blue is hard to read for some users, so a better contrast would be nice.

The text that is on them is OK, but I would like the option for a 'Donation' button to replace the 'Support Us' one.

The two buoons for Rules and for new years shoudl be replaced with one button for 'Malware Removal Forum Guidelines and Rules' to match the pages title.

We need them for both forum styles, prosiler and subsiler2, so either two sets or one set that will work for both styles.

So do we have any graphic artists who would be willing to post links to thier new creations.

Those buttons at the top - do not look like buttons - they are flat.

Buttons look something like this - made to look 3d etc.

That is a nice option.

Do go into your own 'user control panel' and view the forum in the other style that is available - I need for each named button, either two buttons, one for each style, or one button that fits both styles.

Maybe we could have a competition?

Or something where we all post our submissions and we pick the best one?

Yes - but if you look at the number of buttons required, a little smaller (less blank space) would be nice.

It would be the teachers picking one, or even just me, based on style and how they will fit to both the styles in use.

Sorry, for the late response. I completly forgot about this thread.
The buttons for the other skin is made in a different way than the ones for the default skin.
The buttons are made by an image looking like this:
Image
Thats one image, not two, and then the style sheets control the "scrolling" when you hover over the button.
Will it have to work the same way for the buttons on the top menu if they are going to match the optional skin?

I think buttons that got colors which matches the logo might look the best

I agree.

But we need some contrast with the text.

One of the main reasons for getting them altered is so with bad eyes (and color blind) cannot see the black on blue.

Can you see if Red or white show up better.

Hello, this is not "JP". I'm a friend of JP's and decided to have a go at the buttons for you. Here's what I came out with...
