I ran with avast and zone alarm on my desktop before I upgraded my system.
Both do there job. :)

Thanks so much for the help Dan. I just got finished installing all the programs you recommended. I'm also in the process of doing the microsoft thing. So hopefully that will get fixed soon.

Also, sorry for the late reply. I got busy with a few house related things since I'm in the slow process of moving.
