Microsoft Outlook 2007 problem

Unread postby sukey22 » April 25th, 2008, 11:05 am

Help please.
When using Microsoft Outlook 2007 each time I click on a link within a trusted e-mail I get an Alert as follows:
"General failure. The URL was "http://www.northwest-national.com/25-155.htm (as an example of URL). The system cannot find file specified"

Even though I get this Alert the file does generally open on the taskbar.
Can I correct this within Outlook's security settings and if so can someone tell me how to do it.
Many thanks

Hi sukey22
Your issue does not appear to be malware related ,the issue appears to be related to the fact that you are not using Internet explorer as your default browser.
I have provided a couple of links that may be of help to you.
