Need Help

Hello, I have recently had a whole list of problems with my computer add remove, system restore, defrag and much more have failed to operate or even start in some cases. and it seems as time goes on that it is getting worse any help would be greatly appreciated here is my hijack report.

Are you able to install programs?

Most likely reason for add/remove programs trouble is corrupted/missing windows installer:

I get a lot of errors when trying to install some programs. its not just add remove that does not work.
System restore. after I pick the date I want to restore it to and click next. it goes to the window that gives the warning. and when I click next there to perform the action it does not do anything.

Defrag. I click it and it does nothing when I tell it to anylize or defrag.

when I click on Microsoft Outlook it gives me a memory error.

That sounds like a corrupted windows installation.

Do you have windows CD handy?

no I only have the Vista CD. when I bought the computer through the notebook shop or store what ever its called. they said with me getting deployed I should have a more stable OS. so they installed XP on it. its worked fine till about two weeks ago. I installed the trial version of AOE. and when I removed it is when everything seemed to go wrong

Then you should contact that shop for XP CD.

There are also signs of some malware traces but they don't explain your symptoms.
