Hello and wecome, My name is DFW and I will be assisting you with your malware issues .

Please be patient as I need some time to review your Hijackthis log and i will post back recommendations for repairs.
As I am still on training, everything that I post to you, must be checked by an Admin or Moderator. Thus, there may be a tiny bit of a delay between posts, but it shouldn't be too long.

  • Whatever repairs we make, are for fixing your computer problems only and by no means should be used on another computer.
  • Continue to respond to this thread until I give you the All Clean! If you have any question or you're stuck in there please reply it to me. I will try my best to help you!
  • Please bookmark or favourite this page. In case you need it as reference or etc.

Hi dek11677

  1. Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and save it to a convenient location.
  2. Double click on mbam-setup.exe to install it.
  3. Before clicking the Finish button, make sure that these 2 boxes are checked (ticked):
      Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
      Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
  4. Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware will now check for updates. If your firewall prompts, please allow it. If you can't update it, select the Update tab. Under Update Mirror, select one of the websites and click on Check for Updates.
  5. Select the Scanner tab. Click on Perform full scan, then click on Scan.
  6. Leave the default options as it is and click on Start Scan.
  7. When done, you will be prompted. Click OK, then click on Show Results.
  8. Checked (ticked) all items and click on Remove Selected.
  9. After it has removed the items, Notepad will open. Please post this log in your next reply. You can also find the log in the Logs tab. The bottom most log is the latest.

Reboot your System

Make a uninstall list using HijackThis To access the Uninstall Manager you would do the following:

1. Start HijackThis
2. Click on the Config button
3. Click on the Misc Tools button
4. Click on the Open Uninstall Manager button.

Image

Click on the Save list... button and specify where you would like to save this file.

When you press Save button a notepad will open with the contents of that file.
Simply copy and paste the contents of that notepad here on your next reply.

Please post back

Hi dek11677

You are running a P2P filesharing programme.

BitTornado 0.3.17

  • Many of these programmes come with unwanted components bundled with them.
  • If you wish to find out whether the one you're using does click here.

Please note: Even if you are using a "safe" P2P programme, it is only the programme that is safe. You will be sharing files from uncertified sources, and these are often infected. The bad guys use P2P filesharing as a major conduit to spread their wares.
I'd like you to read the Guidelines for P2P Programs where we explain why it's not a good idea to have them
http://forum.malwareremoval.com/viewtop ... e3e96420cc
Remember, no matter how clean the program you're using for peer-to-peer filesharing may be, it offers no guarantees regarding the cleanliness of files you may choose to download.
All files available via p2p filesharing carry a high risk, particularly those that offer you illegitimate methods of using legitimate software programs without paying for them.
Any program or file that offers you the ability to access non-freeware programs at no cost, e.g., pirated software and/or cracks/key generators for gaining access to legitimate software, is 100% guaranteed to contain malware.

An often unanticipated and unintended consequence of using p2p programs is that you may be leaving your computer open to access by others without your knowledge or consent.

NOTE: Under no circumstances should you use p2p filesharing while I am assisting you in ridding your computer of malware.
My recommendation is you uninstall it.

You have Older versions of JAVA that have vulnerabilities that malware can use to infect your system, which we need to remove

I see you have SpyHunter Security Suite on your computer. This was known to be a dubious program in the past, please decide if you what to keep or uninstall,
Malwarebytes you just installed will do a much better job at removing nasties.
INFO HERE http://www.spywarewarrior.com/rogue_ant ... tm#sh_note

The same goes for XoftSpySE was also once on the rogue/suspect list. Although it's no longer listed there, it's still not something I would recommend to anyone.
You should consider removing it, if for no other reason than there are much better programs available Malwarebytes you just installed.

We need you to remove programs from the Add/Remove Programs List

Please go to: Start Menu\Settings\Control Panel\Add/Remove Programs

Find and remove these programs and then reboot.

BitTornado 0.3.17
J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 10
Java(TM) 6 Update 3
SpyHunter <<<< if you want to uninstall
XoftSpySE <<<< if you want to uninstall

Also we have also seen that a program called Kontiki is installed, this program is also A P2P software that get's installed along side programs
which on-demand TV uses sometimes, for the downloading of Films and TV shows, like Sky TV, BBC and Channel 4, Have yoy ever had anything like this installed??.
There is a connection between Entriq MediaSphere 3.6.0.15, which you have installed, and Kontiki, Do you use this program??

Can you please post back what you uninstalled and the answers to the questions about if any On-demand TV software was installed and Entriq MediaSphere

Due to lack of response this topic is now closed.

If you still need help open a new thread in the Malware Removal forum and wait for a new helper.

If you have been helped and wish to donate to help with the costs of this volunteer site, please read Donations For Malware Removal
