The more I think about yesterdays match, the more it becomes clear that it was on purpose. Don't forget Wenger has many degrees in psychology. He also favours the league more than the cup and his relationship with Ferguson hasen't been as best friends.

This made me think as I've never seen Arsenal play like that before in many years. Even the last few years we got to third in the league, we always went on the pitch and gave it our all.

I wouldn't be at all suprised it was on purpose.

Half an hour to go. Then our first piece of silverware in three years. Not that I wouldnt begrudge Eddie Thompson a trophy.

I guess our Vino is a Pompeii fan.

Without turning this into the Rangers Thread, I just have to say, Walt needs to play 4-4-2 more often. Yes Boydy doesnt do much but neither did McCoist in his day. A poacher is a good thing and his goal tally proves it.

True...but i don't know whether to agree or disagree because just before the Bremen game we had went 20 games without losing and that was with a 4:5:1...if you don't let in goals you don't loose matches. But in a way i consider the performance todays and think about the need for more goals upfront and Boydy truely delivered when he came on :)
