Hi Bizmark34. :)

Welcome to Malware Removal.

Step 1

  1. Click on Start > Control Panel and double click on Add/Remove Programs.
  2. Locate PeoplePC Toolbar and click on the Change/Remove button to uninstall it.
  3. Repeat for these program - PartyPoker.
  4. Close Add/Remove Programs and Control Panel.

Here's a list of safe Poker sites:

http://www.pokerstars.net/ - This is a free to use/play site.
http://www.pokerstars.com/ - This is the paid for version.

Here's a list of bad Poker sites:

viewtopic.php?f=4&t=23145

Step 2

Please disable the following protection programs temporarily as they may interfere with the fixes. You can re-enable them after your computer is clean.

Disable Windows Defender temporarily

  1. Go to Start > All Programs > Windows Defender.
  2. Click on Tools at the top.
  3. Under Settings, click on Options.
  4. Under Automatic scanning, uncheck (untick) Automatically scan my computer (recommended) box.
  5. Under Real-time protection options, uncheck (untick) Use real-time protection (recommended) box.
  6. Click on the Save button at the bottom right hand corner.

Disable Spyware Doctor temporarily

  1. Right click on Spyware Doctor icon in the system tray (near the clock).
  2. Select Disable OnGuard.
  3. OnGuard will open a prompt. Select Permanently turn off OnGuard (not recommended) from the drop-down list and click OK.
  4. Right click on the Spyware Doctor icon again and select ShutDown.
  5. Restart the computer for OnGuard to be disabled.

Step 3

If you already have FixIEDef, please delete this copy and download it again as it's being updated regularly.

  1. Please download FixIEDef.exe by ShadowPuterDude and save it to your desktop. DO NOT run it directly via the browser.

If you can't download it, try these alternative mirrors:

    IT Mate
    Hosts File
    avant.it-mate
    MysteryFCM
  2. Double click on FixIEDef.exe to run it.
  3. Click the Extract button. Once done, it will automatically close. A folder named FixIEDef will be created on your desktop.
  4. Open the FixIEDef folder.
  5. Double click on FixIEDef.bat

    Image
  6. Your desktop will disappear and all Internet Explorer windows will be closed. This is normal.
  7. When you can see your desktop, close the Command Prompt window.

Step 4

  1. Please download and install CCleaner Slim.
  2. Once installed, double click on the desktop shortcut created.
  3. On the leftmost column, click on Tools.
  4. On the middle column, click on Uninstall.
  5. At the bottom right hand corner, click on the Save to text file... button.
  6. By default, it saves this file to C:\Program Files\CCleaner named install.txt. You may want to save it to your desktop to find it easily. Click Save.
  7. Close CCleaner.

In your next reply, please post:

  1. A new HijackThis log
  2. CCleaner install.txt
