For a couple of weeks, every time I boot the system I am unable to use Internet Explorer or Firefox. When I open IE I get a message saying "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" and allows me to "Diagnose Connection Problems." I click on it and a few moments later I get this message:
Quote:
Windows has detected a problem with the following layered service provider (LSP): i386p. Would you like to remove this LSP? This computer might need to be restarted to restore network connectivity.
I click "yes" to remove the LSP and then select the option to view the diagnostic log. It shows the following:
WinSock Diagnostic

info System restart required
Then a message tells me the computer needs to be restarted. When I click "yes" the computer reboots. If I login to one of the account with admin privileges, the LSP entires reappear, again blocking me from using IE. However, if I just close IE without rebooting, and then reopen IE, everything works fine --- until the next time I reboot. I can also logon to the account without admin privileges after rebooting and everything works fine.
I ran Norton Antivirus virus scan and it found nothing. I also ran Spybot - Search & Destroy, and SUPERAntiSpyware. Nothing!
I have run the HijackThis system scan and this is the log file:
