Hi

Actually you seem to have one possible malware, I missed it last time, my bad  :

Please make sure that you can view all hidden files. Instructions on how to do this can be found here:

How to see hidden files in Windows

Please click this link-->Jotti

When the jotti page has finished loading, click the Browse button and navigate to the following file and click Submit.

C:\WINDOWS\System32\ciadminm.dll

Please post back the results of the scan in your next post.

If Jotti is busy, try the same at Virustotal: http://www.virustotal.com/

Hi

Yes, we have a baddie.

Open HijackThis, click do a system scan only and checkmark this:

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {C93CCE97-BDC2-4E6F-908A-B0CFC6C9ADE7} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\ciadminm.dll

Close all windows including browser and press fix checked.

Reboot.

Delete if present:

C:\WINDOWS\System32\ciadminm.dll

Empty Recycle Bin.

Post a fresh HijackThis log.

There is something I have to ask you. I just got a windows vista... Unfortunetly I think it might suck just as I have heard. It takes forever to boot up my cd games have problems installing, and somtimes nothing even opens! I think I found a program that is supposed to fix the bugs on vista. http://www.faster-pc.net/lp/?gclid=CLiI ... OAodGU_dYQ
I just wanted to ask if its safe to use on my computer and if it will work.

Hi

That site doesn't seem to contain any malicious software, however I don't know if they are very useful either.

What are specs for that Vista computer?

That is still there:

Download OTMoveIt by OldTimer to your Desktop.
  • Double click OTMoveIt.exe to launch it.
  • Copy/Paste the contents of the box below into the left hand pane of OTMoveIt.
C:\WINDOWS\System32\ciadminm.dll

  • Click the Move It button.
  • The list will be processed and the results will appear in the right hand pane.
  • If a file or folder cannot be moved immediately you may be asked to reboot the machine to finish the move process. If you are asked to reboot the machine choose Yes.
  • When finished click Exit to exit the programme.
  • A log C:\_OTMoveIt\MovedFiles\mmddyyyy_hhmmss.log will be created (where mmddyyyy_hhmmss are numbers giving date and time the log was created).
  • Post contents of that file and a fresh HijackThis log, please.
