broken links?

Unread postby P;3 » November 17th, 2007, 6:35 am

Whilst attempting to help a possible victim to register here I have noticed that this registration link http://forum.malwareremoval.com/profile ... e=register
on
viewtopic.php?f=11&t=12 is now ineffective ?

and I think that this link on thta thread for HJT http://downloads.malwareremoval.com/hijackthis_sfx.exe

now goes to an out of date version OF that tool :cry:

may I also ask ;

could staff also please check out the HJT tools in this link for their 'freedom from infection'
http://www.malwareremoval.com/downloads.html

I recently downloaded HJT from one those links (admittedly on the OLD board, and from which link I now do not recall ) and my avg started flagging up a trogan within IT ; once I removed that version of HJT my avg ran clean

thank you

Have corrected those links - thank you for pointing them out.

Regarding the AVG warning - that would have been a false positive by AVG - those are all clean versions - which may use compression methods that AVG knows are also used by malware.
