Hi lex

Log looks ok to me.

Does SpySweeper have an antivirus and do you have any problems?

thanx Shaba; I discovered my RAM stick screwed up...I've replaced it (w. upgrade) but am still suffering sudden shut-downs, etc. I expect I'll have to nuke and pave the OS....

cheers

that i don't know...but the frequent shutdowns - spontaneous reboots - tirgger a blue screen scan disk notice that cites 883A-21DD as needing attention.

sorry, the problem persists, but less often. I was told at a place i trusted it was a failure in my RAM stick...I upgraded, then a friend tested the first RAM and said it was OK...still crashing...the first shop said some of the hard drive was probably corrupted by the "bad" stick, so I'd have to "nuke and pave" the OS - something I haven't tried yet. The second friend said my harddrive space was low (only about 4 MB to spare when running), and I should probably upgrade that....

Hi

Yes, you should have much more free disk space.

Adding another HD and moving stuff from old HD to new one should help :)
