Hi. What is up with Symantec? Do they really care about their customers??? I really think NOT!
For months I have NOT been able to add any new firewall rules since I upgraded my browser to IE 7! I went to their support site and was told to do a complete reinstall of the product and that would solve this issue WHICH IT DID NOT! I went back and they told me to uninstall IE 7 or upgrade to NAV 2007. UNBELIEVABLE!!!
After searching the net I discovered MANY people had the SAME problem and Symantec gave them all the run around! From what I understand the file responsible for the problems(and according to experts SO EASY TO SOLVE) is niscmnht.dll. Basically, a few lines need editing so that when other modules ask for the IE version the correct version would be given as output. Why don't they fix it?
