Mozy Remote Backup

Unread postby JamesFrance » April 10th, 2007, 5:57 am

I have quite recently started to use this free Backup utility, which tells you what you are most likely to want to back up, lets you select whatever you want and then updates the backup automatically at your chosen interval.

2Mb of space is free, any more you would pay for.

They say your data is securely encrypted and I wondered if anyone had any views on this?

Just create your own TrueCrypt volume with your files and send to them.
Your backup will be encrypted localy and people who works at mozy won't be able to decrypt it.
Use a strong pass phrase.
