Favorite Season

Unread postby Hitsugaya » December 10th, 2006, 12:34 pm

I just wanted to know what your favorite season is? A lot of people like this time of year because of Christmas and 2 weeks off of school, while others like summer more. I personaly prefer summer because I get 3 months off of school and I get to travel. So, what is your favorite season?

I'm a ski nut, so Winter is the ONLY season for me. Image

Christmas of course is my favourite one because of family gathering together, brings memories of my childhood and my lost ones.
But i vote for Summer too, even though it's too hot and humid here, because of having 2 weeks vacation and travelling abroad. :)

I prefer winter.

That was probably since I was born in a cold state. ;)

Summer gets my vote as well, because I get to take time off work, travel, and enjoy some sun

chryssi2001, don't know where you are but your "too hot and humid" reminds me of Hainan Island in China .... a beautiful island, but very stuffy in the summer months as well.

This was well cool: Nanwan Monkey Islet (one of my own pics)

@ Angoid

I am in Cyprus.
Not very far, only3-4 hours by plane from England.
In August which is the hottest month here, we have combination of too high temperatures and humid which is terrible.
We do have though almost 9 months sun, and not heavy winter.
Too many tourists are coming here because of our nice weather. :)

No particular one, because Singapore doesn't experience any seasonal change.

chryssi2001, Cyprus is one country I've yet to visit. Sounds like a great place to get that killer tan! I think the hottest I've ever experienced must have been around the 48 to 50 degrees C mark, in Morocco and in Egypt.

China is definitely well worth the visit, but do beware that in many places sanitation is, well, a bit on the basic side

But to come back on topic, yes Summer is my favourite, with Christmas second. Spring, winter, and autumn come next in that order.

Inland is warmer and the winters aren't as harsh. During winter time would be nice, but during summer, you wish for air con.

My vote goes with the summer. The sun is still out when I get off of work, I get to spend time out on the water, and take the top off of the jeep :D
