I have gotten some viruses and can't get HijackThis to run. I have tried Merijn's solution to run CoolWWWSearch.Smartsearch killer, but it says no CoolWWWSearch.Smartsearch detected.

I then tried to run CWShredder, but it closes immediately I run it. I couldn't get anything to run in Normal Mode, as lots of cmd.exe windows keep popping up. There are also lots of vanebot.exe pop ups (in the form of command prompt windows).

I then tried with Safe Mode, and still has the same results. Is there any way besides reformatting? I will post up a screenshot if possible.

Anyway, I removed Internet Download Manager and no more vanebot.exe or cmd.exe popping up.

However, I still can't get HijackThis to run. I have tried renaming it, but it can't run as well.

Another thing: avast antivirus keep giving me a warning that it has expired when I am using the free edition. :roll:

I can't uninstall it, the uninstall window pop up and close immediately.

I can't update Ewido as well, it closes immediately I open it.

Download this file -> http://www.merijn.org/files/ibprocman.zip and unzip it to desktop. Run it and press diskette in order to save process list to text file. Copy/paste contents of that file here, please :)

Hi

Download Autoruns and unzip to desktop. Doubleclick autoruns.exe. Select everything and go File -> Save as. Send contents of AutoRuns.txt here, please :)
