Hi nufaaz,

Welcome to the MalWare Removal forums! I'll be glad to help you with your computer problems.
HijackThis logs can take some time to research, so please be patient with me. I know that you need
your computer working as quickly as possible, and I will work hard to help see that happens.

In order to help me help you, please observe the following while we work:
  1. If you don't know, stop and ask! Don't continue, we don't want to start all over again!
  2. Understand that cleaning your computer can sometimes take multiple passes/posts,
and it's important to follow the steps as listed including re-running scans as listed
  3. Please reply to this thread, do not start another.

If you can do those three things, everything should go smoothly

Hi nufaaz,

There are indications in your log that either you have an issue with properly validating Windows XP, or that SP2 may be improperly installed. That issue needs to be addressed prior to cleaning your system as, if either of these two conditions exist, you will be unable to install security updates and it will not be possible to secure your system to any degree as it will just keep getting reinfected.

Accordingly, please do the following:

  • Download a diagnostic tool (MGADiag.exe) from >here< and save this to your Desktop.
  • Double-click on MGADiag.exe.
  • When the program has finished, click on the Validation tab and then click on Copy to Clipboard
  • Please post the results in your next reply.

Hi nufaaz,

Unfortunately, there appears to be an issue with your license key as it has been blocked by Microsoft. This means that you can't get needed updates which means you will just keep getting reinfected.

You will need to contact Microsoft to see what avenues may be open for you to resolve this issue. You may contact Microsoft either by phone or through their forum for handling this and other similar issues.

http://forums.microsoft.com/Genuine/def ... ?SiteID=25

Once you have resolved this problem with your operating system, if you wish to come back here and start a new topic, we will be happy to help you with your Malware problems.

There is nothing we can do until this is resolved.
