Hi

I posted here on 14th July and Agrarianmonk helped me resolve a Smitfraud infection I had.

I have been running & updating Avir, Ewido and Zonelabs since but the 'your computer is in danger' system tray balloon (not the black desktop) has snuck back into my life! :o

I am afraid you have a very bad infection.

So bad that unless you yourself are an expert we are recommending that you reformat and re-install the operating system.

Bad Disk....

Thanks for the post, despite the bad news!

To be honest, this balloon reappearing is not the only problem I'm having and I think my hard drive has just about had it (it's about 8 years old).
I think it's easier if I just get a new drive and reinstall (or take advantage of some of these ridiculously cheap new PC offers....!)
