Hey all,

Well I guess I may as well be the one to get the ball rolling in this new room. I have a Dell Studio XPS 435 desktop computer. I did not get a wireless adapter when I ordered it because I did not think I would ever need to connect wirelessly to the Internet. However, my new place have WiFi so I began searching for the internal adapter that I could afford. Those that I found at the Dell website were too high-priced and I couldn't find them for less anywhere else. My first choice was a Rosewill that was out of stock everywhere.

This one, the ENCORE ENEWI-2XN42 Wireless N300 Adapter has good ratings at newegg but I want to make sure that it will fit into my computer. It looks like it should.

I'm on a limited budget but if anyone has an idea for a better card in the under $30 price range, I'm happy to entertain suggestions.

Thanks in advance. :blob6: :blob6: -- SCB

Hi SCB
Have you seen this site: http://www.discountelectronics.com/inde ... st&c=11001
All cards shown are under $30.00... one is a Dell Studio XPS 435 PCI Wireless LAN Card ($19.00) in stock.

I can't help you with the appropriateness of the adapter but I am definitely envious that you have a spare PCI slot!
