How to protect myself?

Unread postby jomoncon » December 7th, 2005, 9:01 am

What are the best steps to take to protect myself from all the evils that lurk out there? I have an up to date virus protection, run ad-aware and spybot on a regular basis, don't open email attachments, try to avoid loading downloaded software and try to limit cookies. I've switched to Firefox as my browser because I think it offers more safeguards than IE. What else can I/should I be doing? :?:
