When using internet, I cannot open up websites such as cnn.com-says the page has been stopped. have to disconnect wireless internet and then reconnect it. Also while typing a letter in email, the cursor jumps all over the page, effectively mistyping multiple words, sentences.

Hi and welcome to MalwareRemoval.com, sorry for any delay in answering your request for help, the forum is really busy.
My name is Diver79, and I will be helping you with your malware problems.

Before we start please note the following important guidelines.
  • The instructions given are for THIS computer only! Using these instructions on a different computer, can make it inoperable!
  • Please DO NOT run any other software or scans whilst I am helping you.

Note: If you haven't done so already, please ensure you have read the following article. ALL USERS OF THIS FORUM MUST READ THIS FIRST where the conditions for receiving help here are explained.

Please be aware that removing Malware is a potentially hazardous undertaking. I will take care not to knowingly suggest courses of action that might damage your computer. However it is impossible for me to foresee all interactions that may happen between the software on your computer and those we'll use to clear you of infection, and I cannot guarantee the safety of your system. It is possible that we might encounter situations where the only recourse is to re-format and re-install your operating system, or to necessitate you taking your computer to a repair shop.
Because of this, I advise you to backup any personal files and folders before you start.

diver79, thank you for trying to help me!

I am presently backing up my information and will get back to you once that is finished. I am a newbie to all of this, and some operations take me a bit longer than others. So if you can go slowly with your suggestions, that would be so helpful. I don't want to make this worse than it already is.

Thank you again, and you should hear from me shortly. Do you notice any problem from the logs I posted?

No problem canalking,

We do not use Hijackthis any more, but I have had a look at the log and it does not show any problems. It does show that you have Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 installed. Can you tell me how this came to be installed on the computer?

The DDS logs will give a more comprehensive overview of what is running on your computer. Please post these once you have backed up the computer.

diver79,

If you still require help, please open a new thread in the Malware Removal forum, include a
fresh DDS log, and wait for a new helper.
