As far as clearing out the TIF's....No it's not a
required step; especially since 1) there is no 'Baddies' in there 2) You use FF as your main browser....(ahem).
The
noticeable differences to FF are negligible; the main ones being the addition of "Clear Private Data" under the Tools section. It's the FF version of the same thing..clearing out the FF TIF's (Temporary Internet Files). And the ability to drag and drop tabs. There were several behind the scene changes, mainly attempting to strengthen browser security. More info can be found
