I would like to run a decryption tool but am advised that my PC must be 100% clean first. I've run multiple anti-malware software but it seems that while one or several may declare I'm clean others seem to be finding more problems. I'm not experienced enough to confirm that I am indeed 100% clean.

Also, I'd like to confirm the exact decryption tool I need to use.

I'm running Windows 10.

Thanks,

Tippers

I wanted to add this information as it might be helpful in determining the specific version of this ransomware. There is a definite pattern recognition. Files locked appear only up to the 2nd subfolder.

Drive Letter/Main Folder/1st Subfolder/2nd Subfolder

3rd subfolders and beyond are not locked. So apparently it drills down only so far in a drive tree.

I read the top 2 similar topics where both advised heading over to Bleeping Computer. So I headed there and posted the above. Given that they're the recommended experts then perhaps I should close out this thread.

Yes, the Bleeping Computer is the best place for help with ransomware infections.

As suggestions have been made for possible resolutions for the issues noted in this topic, and no additional questions have been asked, it is presumed this topic has been finalized. Therefore, it is now closed.
