Hi askey127,

so this are really bad news. For sure I will format my hard drive and re-install Windows. The only problem for the moment is that I have no working CD drive, but I think I will find a solution.

On the infected machine I have 3 hard drives: 1st (C) with Windows and all the software, 2nd (D,E,F) all the data of the three different user accounts like my documents, desktop, ..., and 3rd an external drive to backup D,E,F. Of course I will format the 1st (C), but can I be sure that the two others are secure and not infected?

How can I check that the two laptops that are connected to the same Internet account are not infected?

Thank you very much

I would save the documents from the three accounts on the backup drive.
Erase your present backups if you have to make room.
Save documents, photos. Don't save anything you got from downloads.... and I do mean games.
Assume that all cracks are infected (they are).

DO NOT save your desktops. Desktop.ini for example, is a frequent harbor for infected entries.

The other two laptops should have their logs posted for checking.
When you post, include a note that this was on the same network as a machine with ZA.
You can provide a link to this thread.
Your helper will know what to do.

Hi askey127,

thank you very much for your help.

I created a new topic for the other two laptops:

Since the issue on this machine will be resolved by Re-Installing Windows, this topic will be closed.
