I have a desktop running Windows 7. Two user profiles, one starts OK, the other has a blank desktop. It will come up in safe mode. I ran Hijack this and attach a logfile. I would appreciate any help.

Hi DerekDay,
Important: Do not run any type of temp file cleaner until we get your icons back. Please download
DDS by sUBs from one of the links below, save it to your
Desktop (Note: It must be in this location) .
Please disable any anti-malware program that will block scripts from running before running DDS. Right-Click on dds.scr And select " Run as administrator "... and a command window will appear. This is normal. Shortly after two logs will appear: A window will open instructing you save & post the logs Save the logs to a convenient place such as your desktop Copy the contents of both logs & post in your next replyIn your next reply please include: Both logs from DDS. (Please do
not attach them).
Regards maxi

I have now solved this problem. There was an exe file in roaming, being run from Current User\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Run. Don't know how it got there, but I've deleted it and the registry entry. Thanks for your attention. Regards Derek Day
