I had a reply on Thursday, from Mambass, an MU undergrad introduction, but no reply since.

This infection investigation is quite serious and I really do need some assistance.
Please!

The 72 hour bump room is provided for those whose topic has not received a response from a helper. You have received a reply from mambass, and you have acknowledged that reply. Mambass is an Undergraduate helper and, as such, must have his responses and fixes approved by his instructor prior to posting them, which does take extra time. As your topic presently has a helper who is addressing your issue, you should NOT start topics in the 72 hour bump room.

I would also add that were I the victim of online bank fraud, I would reset and reconfigure my router and reformat all computers that were connected to the network. I would also be extremely cautious with any/all backups I made, and make sure that everything is thoroughly scanned prior to returning it to any of the newly reformatted computers.

This is a free help site, operated entirely by volunteers who have lives and obligations outside this site. If you feel your situation is emergent, and you do not have the time to wait for free online assistance, we understand that, and would suggest you consider taking your computer to a repair shop.
