C: drive space being shown less and less

Unread postby mulaga » September 27th, 2011, 1:24 am

Hi,
I am facing a strange problem.I was using the software Video to MP3 on a video file to extract audio and I got the message that you are running low on space on drive C: So i deleted some files and started the software again but same thing happened a couple of times. So finally I saw how much space i have (abt 600 MB), then cut some 550 MB folder and pasted it on other drive, and again started using the software. Again same message. I saw the space available and to my surprise, it was showing some 400 MBs. And today its showing only 272 MBs left.
I am sure this is because of some malware.
Please help me.
Thank you in advance.
M.

I see you are running Windows XP with Service Pack 2 installed.

May I bring your attention to THIS topic which you should have read before posting for help, and which explains why we do not help with Operating Systems that are no longer supported by Microsoft.
