Removal of win32/Hotbar

Unread postby srsmooch » September 10th, 2011, 12:36 am

I ran microsoft safety scan and it showed win32/Hotbar as malware on my computer.
Attempting to remove it I ran microsoft malware removal program. (malware was not
on the programs list.

Contacted McAfee forum for a way to remove it. A tech had me give him access to
my computer to remove the infection. I don't think that it was removed, by how
the system is running.

Can u help me remove it.

This is one of two computers that have malware. The other has Win32/RegCure, Win32/DoubleD.
I may ask for help with it after working this one out.
