Cannot get rid of searchqu.com//406

Hi,
I am using Google Crome as my default browser and I have Windows Vista as my operating system but I keep getting rerouted to: searchqu.com//406. I have bought Malware Removal and tried using 'Hijack This' and 'SUPERAntiSpyWare' to get rid it. Initially Malware got rid of it but then I downloaded something which had Bandoo bundled in it and now the searchqu.com//406 malware is back and I can't get rid of it no matter what I try. I've reset GoogleChrome as my default browser but I'm still getting routed to searchqu.com//406.

I am not well versed in computer tech lingo so any instructions provided to get rid of this Malware will have to be very simple to follow and in layman's terms.

Thank you!

By posting just a description of your problems it is likely that your topic will be passed by and you will not receive the help you're looking for.

We need to know what's running on your computer so that we can give you appropriate instructions.

May I draw your attention to THIS topic, which you should have read, and which tells you what we need you to post so that we can help you.

This thread will now be closed.

If you still need help, please start a new thread with:-

  • Attach.txt
  • Details of your problems.

If for any reason you can't run DDS, please let us know in your post.
