Please help; I can't run DDS or HijackThis

I tried running all three forms of the DDS analyses and the HijackThis. Nothing seems to work. When click the link to the HijackThis download, the symbols below pop up on my screen. I would appreciate anyone's help on this very much. Lately my computer has been running slow, and when I try to go to various websites through firefox, I am directed to other sites that I didn't even intend to go to.

Download/run Rkill:

Please download Rkill from one of the following links and save to your Desktop:

One, Two or Three

• Double click on Rkill.
• A command window will open then disappear upon completion, this is normal.
• Please leave Rkill on the Desktop until otherwise advised.

Note: If your security software warns about Rkill, please ignore and allow the download to continue.

Next, please follow the guideline at the link below to start a new topic and post your DDS log. If you are unable to create and post a DDS log, then your only option may be to reformat your computer and reinstall the operating system.
