I've been looking at some other forums and a couple said about indexing also so i turned it off, but made no difference. I also read a couple about dvd/cd rom drives causing the same problem, so I disconected the data cables off of my Cd rom and dvd drives and that stopped the light from blinking. Now i just have to figure out why. A couple of posts mentioned about turrning off auto insert notification which I did, the light still flashes. I don't know I am going to try next. But I do thank you for your assistance in making sure there is no bugs on my machine.

As any remaining issues do not involve malware and therefore fall outside the scope of this forum, this topic is now closed.
