Help! My computer is thouroughly infected. Avira will not run. Not even in safe mode, neither will malaware. Rkill runs but has a message about not finding a temporary file so it will not end the mal program and allow a scan for viruses. I cannot connect to the internet in any mode. Everything is disabled. I have XP security pack 3. I have an external harddrive. I am desperate for help and greatly appreciate any given to me. I have combo fix on the desktop but doubt it will run. I have a portable harddrive if needed. Please help!

Hello Toast

Is this the same computer that Askey helped you with last week?

1 - Scan With DDS
Download DDS.scr by sUBs from the following link and save it to your desktop.
Link 1
  • Double-Click on dds.scr and a command window will appear. This is normal
  • Shortly after two logs will appear, DDS.txt and Attach.txt
  • A window will open instructing you save and post the logs
  • Save the logs to a convenient place such as your desktop
  • Copy the contents of both logs and post, not attach, in your next reply

Thanks
Vino

Due to a lack of response, this topic is now closed.

If you still require help, please open a new thread in the Infected? Virus, malware, adware, ransomware, oh my! forum, include a fresh FRST log, and wait for a new helper.
