A little history. I got a virus while searching for drivers to run xp on a vista machine. Thought I had it cleaned up after using a system restore point, then unhiding a lot of folders that the virus had marked as hidden and then running Malwarebytes once it was able to update. I then installed MS Security Essentials, and various other software trying to stop the last remaining problem I know of, the redirects in internet search.
