Redirection to random sites using google and other sites

Hi,

I've been having problems with my mozilla firefox due to redirection issues for the past few days/weeks. I was able to circumvent this issue by using chrome. But it seems that chrome isn't immune to this problem anymore. I've also noticed that its preventing my antivirus software (symantec endpoint protection) from updating itself. I keep updating it, but it never registers on my software. (It says the last update was on feb 22) I've also ran the malwarebites anti-malware software and its coming back clean.

Please let me know what other information you need.

Thanks in advance.

By posting just a description of your problems it is likely that your topic will be passed by and you will not receive the help you're looking for.

We need to know what's running on your computer so that we can give you appropriate instructions.

May I draw your attention to THIS topic, which you should have read, and which tells you what we need you to post so that we can help you.

This thread will now be closed.

If you still need help, please start a new thread with:-

  • Attach.txt
  • Details of your problems.

If for any reason you can't run DDS, please let us know in your post.
