Hi Askey127,

Avast found 240 viruses/problems which I "Sent to chest". I am unable to find out how to save the log details to post them for you.

Thanks,

crounauer,
This is most certainly unfixable without a re-install..
Time to Reformat the drive and Re-install Windows.
If you can do a complete System Recovery back to the "as purchased" condition, that will work.
(Any Repair Install or the like that leaves the Installed Programs intact will fail).

You will not be able to fix those files, and the machine will never work properly otherwise.
You cannot continue online with a machine controlled by criminals.
They can send out spam, e-mails, and infections using your machine as the perpetrator.

Since the resolution of this issue requires a Re-installation of Windows, this topic will be closed.
