E-Mail Hijacker

Unread postby rgr401 » February 27th, 2011, 4:25 am

Friends and business associates on my Gmail address list have been receiving e-mails from me with a link which directs them to an online Canadian Pharmacy. I have never used that Pharmacy and the e-mail to friends and colleagues looks like it's from me.

I have no idea how this spammer obtained my address book. How can I find this "hijacker" and prevent the unauthorized use of personal information going forward?

I have included a copy of my log file from the Hijack This Scan.

Sorry, but we don't presently offer help with 64-bit machines.
You should check the settings on your router to be sure you don't have any incorrect servers listed.
This kind of hack can happen if the Router installation administrator account still has the original default password.
