desktop trouble

Unread postby stormiex » January 19th, 2011, 12:57 am

Something wrong is going on with our desktop! My husband is the main user and says the sound is no longer working and websites get highjacked. Yes the speakers are turned on but I think we are missing the drivers? Also the screen looks different as far as the boxes on the bottom that say what program you have open. I'm obviously not techy, but hope I can understand what we need to do to fix this. We had to have a hard drive installed a year or two ago and the system restore was never turned on, so we are unable to use that option. Please help!! Thank you so MUCH!!!
