I have two computers, a Vista x32 and an XP. The XP isn't connected to the internet. I recently realized that the flash drive connected to the XP had a file (with all the information in ?Spanish?) called dllrun.exe at it's root. There is also an autorun.inf file which attempts to run dllrun when plugged in. The default action is changed to Explorar. Of course, I tried deleting the files, but they re-appeared each time I plugged it in or restarted the XP. ClamWin did not pick up on the file as malware, even when I specifically told Clam to inspect it. The real problem here is that I cannot get HijackThis on the XP, since I am afraid of infecting another flash drive when moving it from my Vista to XP. This website:
http://www.microsoft.com/security/portal/Threat/Encyclopedia/Entry.aspx?Name=Worm:Win32/Soglueda.A&ThreatID=-2147330925seems to describe my exact symptoms, except I have not found this keylogger: <system folder>\winm.dll described there. (Which may make sense, since it isn't connected to the web anyway), and EXE files haven't been changed either.
My computer is still running fine, I simply want my $20 flash drive back, and the program off my computer.
