Having issues

Well, essentially, I at some point picked up the Adware 'Safety Shield'.

I do not have an anti-adware/malware/spyware client installed that is picking it up. So, I downloaded STOPzilla, as I've heard good things about it.

It pinged it, and a few others. But I can't delete them, as it's not paid for, it's only the trial.

I cannot download freebies, as the .exe for installation can't run, due to 'Safety Shield'.

I resorted to DLing a crack for the STOPzilla registration, but it can't stay open long enough to do it's job.

I'm out of options, and I can't really use my PC. I want this infernal thing evicerated, and I'm hoping you guys can help me somehow.

By posting just a description of your problems it is likely that your topic will be passed by and you will not receive the help you're looking for.

We need to know what's running on your computer so that we can give you appropriate instructions.

May I draw your attention to THIS topic, which you should have read, and which tells you what we need you to post so that we can help you.

This thread will now be closed.

If you still need help, please start a new thread with:-
  • A HijackThis log.
  • An Uninstall list.
  • Details of the problems you're experiencing.

If for any reason you can't run HijackThis, please let us know in your post.
